RKCC is currently operated as a private hobby project.

2. Data we process

When you register for RKCC updates, the following information may be processed:

• your email address;
• the date and time of your consent;
• the form used and the applicable consent wording;
• whether you optionally indicate an interest in trying the RKCC PWA demo;
• your registration, confirmation and unsubscribe status.

Only a valid email address and your actively provided consent are required to register. Indicating an interest in the RKCC PWA demo is optional and is stored separately from your consent to receive email updates. When the form is submitted or the hosted fallback form is opened, Brevo may also process technically necessary connection data such as your IP address, browser information, date and time.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process this data to send occasional emails about the following RKCC topics:

• development progress;
• Android, iOS and PWA releases;
• new features;
• beta and demo opportunities;
• RKCC promotions, offers or special campaigns.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, Section 174 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021.

Your data will not be sold or used for unrelated third-party advertising.

4. Registration and double opt-in

RKCC uses a double opt-in process. After submitting the registration form, you receive a confirmation email from RKCC. Your subscription only becomes active after you click the individual confirmation link in that email.

Brevo records information needed to document the registration and confirmation process, including the time of registration, the form used, confirmation status and, where applicable, the time of confirmation. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link.

5. Hosting, storage and service providers

This website is operated using ChatGPT Sites. The registration form is displayed by this website and submits registration data directly to Brevo's sibforms.com endpoint. When you submit the form, your browser connects directly to Brevo. Data submitted through the form is transmitted to and stored in RKCC's Brevo account; the website's former registration database is no longer used for new registrations.

The platform provider and its service providers may process technically necessary information for hosting, security, maintenance and operation of the site. Depending on the infrastructure used, data may be processed outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Appropriate legal safeguards must be in place where required.

RKCC uses Brevo as its email marketing and delivery service and as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. Brevo processes registration data, optional PWA demo interest, consent records, delivery data and unsubscribe information to operate the mailing list and send RKCC emails.

6. Retention period

Registration data is stored until:

• you withdraw your consent;
• the RKCC update service is permanently discontinued; or
• the data is no longer needed for the stated purposes.

After withdrawal, your data will be removed from the active mailing list without undue delay. Personal data will generally be deleted or anonymised within 30 days unless a minimal suppression record is required to prevent further messages or meet legal record-keeping obligations.

If RKCC is permanently discontinued, registration data will be deleted within 90 days.

You can also use the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

• data portability;
• withdraw your consent.

9. Cookies and technical information

RKCC currently uses no advertising or marketing cookies and no third-party analytics tools.

The hosting platform may process technically necessary information, security logs or essential storage required to provide and protect the site.

If non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking tools are introduced later, they will only be loaded after any required consent has been obtained. This Privacy Policy and the consent controls will be updated before those tools are activated.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy will be updated when the site, email process or service providers change. The current version and its update date will always be published on this page.
